Dr. Rebecca Sandlin Durham
A 1996 graduate from Hanceville High School, Dr. Durham earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Dairy Science from Auburn University College of Agriculture in 2000, and then got her DVM from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004.
She began her career as a veterinarian with Compton's Veterinary Hospital in 2004 after previously working here during her high school and college years, under Dr. Haynes and Dr. Compton.
Dr. Durham is happily married to her husband of five years - Don. She is blessed with three boys - Matthew, Evan, and Will. She has two of her own furry babies - Addy Bug, her canine companion, and Dyna, her cat.
Mandy Shoemaker
Mandy Shoemaker has worked at Compton's Veterinary Hospital for the past 22 years. She has been married for 17 years and has two teenage boys. She loves being a wife and mom. Her family is a member of Temple Baptist Church Fairview, where she is on the sign art worship team and serves in the children's ministry.
In her free time, she enjoys watching her kids play sports and spending time with family and friends. She has one cat named Tiger.
Don Durham
Don Durham has worked at Compton's Veterinary Hospital for six years. He is happily married to his wife, Rebecca and is a father to three boys. He is an active and proud member of Mountain View Baptist Church.
In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, going to the lake, traveling, and hanging out with friends and family.
Melissa Moody
Melissa Moody is the receptionist and has been employed with Compton's Veterinary Hospital for nine years. She graduated from Arab High School in 1999 and has been married for 15 years. She has two children - Hailey and Ian.
Melissa loves animals and has two dogs, one cat, and two goats. She is a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. In her free time, she loves watching her kids play sports, traveling, photography, and spending time with family and friends.
Allison
Allison grew up in Birmingham, AL and graduated from Homewood High School in 2006. In 2016 she graduated from Bel-Rea Institute in Denver and became a licensed Veterinary Technician. Allison is very passionate about veterinary medicine and has known she wanted to work with animal s since she was a child.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her fiance Travis, and her pets- 3 felines named Charlie, Sadie and Ruffles and a pitbull named Lilith. Allison is very thankful to be part of the team at Compton's Veterinary Hospital.
Sarah Brock
Sarah Brock has worked at Compton's since February 2020. She is currently the owner to her three canine companions Roxie, Odie and Titan. Sarah is a student at Jefferson State Community College and is in their Veterinary Technology Program. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the dog park with her dogs and being outside.
Jen Millard
Jen Millard has worked at Compton's Veterinary Hospital since Feb 2020. She has been married to her husband Dan for 26 years. They have two daughters, Sadie and Taylor. Jen is originally from Colorado. She has 2 cats, 7 dogs and 3 horses. She has been working in the veterinary field since 1991. Her hobbies are gardening, hose back riding and paddle boarding.
Taylor Millard
Taylor Millard has been working at Compton's since May 2020. She has been working in the veterinary field for 6 years. She has 2 horses, 5 cats and 8 dogs. She enjoys going on spontaneous road trips, hiking and horse back riding. her goal is to help save and love as many animals as she can.
Rebecca White
Rebecca White is a receptionist and has been a part of Compton's team since 2020. She is engaged to her best friend, Tyler Lambert. She is a dog mom to Fiona, Millie, and Maya. She also has her kitty, Stella. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and cuddling with her pets.
